Seeking a role where you can add value and have the opportunity to develop and grow?Office Depot Europe has an exciting opportunity for an Order to Cash (O2C) Process Expert to join our European headquarters in Venlo, the Netherlands. The role is a fulltime, temporary position for 3 monthsYour role as an Order to Cash (O2C) Process ExpertOffice Depot Europe is transforming itself to meet changing customer expectations and be competitive in a rapidly changing industry. We have ambitious goals to grow our digital B2B direct sales business. After many years of acquisition, limited governance, and a carve-out from Office Depot Inc. in 2017, the current IT landscape is extensive and complex. Recent investments in eCommerce and modernisation have made good progress but a large challenge, and opportunity, remains. We are investing heavily in technology. The IT and Digital Engineering teams are developing strategies to increase agility and business value. We are building a new Corporate Services IT team to develop, manage and support the technology used by the Finance, HR, Legal and Communications teams. This team will manage solutions including Oracle Fusion Finance through an ERP/Financial Centre of Excellence team; WorkDay HCM; Concur expense management and around 100 other IT systems and services.The role of the Order to Cash (O2C) Process Expert is to develop a deep business understanding of the O2C process area and included modules in order to ensure that the Oracle ERP/Financial solution optimally serves the business. You will determine, defineand provide hands-on support for the business to support the required changes and align with other process areas to ensure that up and downstream and cross-modular impact is considered and well-managed. The main stakeholder is the business and you will work closely with the Business Process Owners (BPOs), Business Process Experts (BPEs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to prioritise support.
  • To quickly get to grips with the challenges OD has in bringing the ERP/Financial CoE live, with effective O2C support and communication processes
  • To be the development lead on all O2C end to end processesand support the P2P and R2R with the development and support of their processes as required
  • To drive service excellence and internal customer satisfaction and manage expectations, continually refining the O2C support processes to improve quality and efficiency
  • To have an excellent understanding of the O2C concepts of sales, fulfillment, customer master data and finance, including order management, credit management, fulfillment, shipping, customer invoicing, accounts receivable, payment collections, reporting and data management
  • To have the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
  • To understand the APRO banking solution; bank statements and customer payments and assist the Service Delivery Manager to establish effective support processes between APRO, Oracle and ERP/Financial Centre of Excellence team
  • To identify service issues that impact the O2C processes, escalate as appropriate and work with support teams through to resolution
  • To have excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • To maintain the business processes in the assigned Oracle modules; P2P and R2R interfaces, mapping Oracle to Hyperion
  • To be responsible for providing 2nd line O2C process support for the business
  • To log service requests and work with other members of the Financial CoE team and support groups for 3rd line support
